As a small independently owned business, we feel it is very important to give back to our local community (i.e. by donation of product and through educational outreach.)

January 2016 – “2016 Wisconsin Local Food Summit: Digging into Local Food” (held at the Blue Harbor Resort in Sheboygan, WI). We donated eggs for the breakfast during the conference.
October 2014 – December 2015
We have donated several pallet of eggs to Second Harvest Foodbank of Southern WI. (click on logo to learn more). Eggs were distributed to local food banks all across southern Wisconsin by Second Harvest Foodbank.
September 2014 – We donated a Wisconsin Breakfast basket featuring all Wisconsin produced foods for a Silent Auction item for a backyard event to benefit Helping the Homeless in Janesville, WI. This event took place on Labor Day weekend and was sponsored by the Tom Hathaway Family (an old high school classmate and friend of Judy’s). The event was a success, members of the community donated clothing, food, and helped to raise several thousand dollars to be given to homeless shelters in Rock County.
August 2013 – We donated eggs for the Ride to the Barns event, southeastern Wisconsin’s favorite gourmet bicycle ride, highlighting local foods and farmland preservation. Approximately 350 to 400 bicyclists attended the event. Proceeds went to assist Tall Pines Land Conservancy to meet their mission of preserving our rural heritage by protecting remaining farmland, water resources and natural areas and open spaces impacting Northwestern Waukesha County.
April 2013 – We donated eggs to go into the “Wisconsin-made” tote bags filled with all kinds of goodies from Wisconsin Farmers and Businesses. “Wisconsin-made” tote bags were auctioned off at the MPTV’s Great TV Auction, a yearly event. Proceeds were used to purchase quality programming and maintain equipment for Milwaukee Public Television.
September 2012 – We donated a Wisconsin Breakfast basket featuring all Wisconsin produced foods for a Silent Auction item for the Farm Fresh Atlas of Southeastern Wisconsin – Real Farms Real Food event.
August 2012 – We donated eggs for the Ride to the Barns event, southeastern Wisconsin’s favorite gourmet bicycle ride, highlighting local foods and land preservation. Approximately 200 to 300 bicyclists attended the event. Proceeds went to fund land conservation efforts through the Tall Pines Land Conservancy.
Fresh Brown Eggs: A Local Farm’s Growth in a Challenging Food System Presented as part of a panel discussion in the breakout session focused on: “The Changing Face of A Responsible Food System: Production Agriculture, Local Food Sourcing and the Intersection of Business,” 2013 Sustainability Summit in Milwaukee, WI on March 7th.
